Celebrate Oktoberfest at Presbyterian College with a fun, family-friendly twist! The dining hall is transformed into a festive autumn gathering inspired by traditional German Oktoberfest celebrations—completely alcohol-free. Blue-and-garnet decorations, strings of warm lights, pumpkins, hay bales, and seasonal mums create a welcoming atmosphere. Students, faculty, and families gather around long communal tables enjoying soft pretzels, bratwurst, roasted nuts, caramel apples, popcorn, root beer, sparkling cider, hot apple cider, and other festive treats. Music fills the air with energetic folk and polka-inspired tunes while lawn games, cornhole, pumpkin decorating, photo booths, and friendly competitions keep everyone entertained. Presbyterian College spirit is showcased throughout with Blue Hose banners, school colors, and students wearing PC apparel alongside traditional Bavarian-inspired attire such as lederhosen, dirndls, and plaid shirts. The event captures the warmth, community, and traditions of Oktoberfest while creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming celebration focused on food, friendship, school pride, and fall festivities.
